My fancy potholders
3 Attachment(s)
Was just having some fun in my sewing room. Trying some of those
new stitches on my sewing machine. It's not perfect but it should last a while. The hardest part was attaching those loops. Sewing through 12+ layers of fabric ain't easy let me tell you. At least I didn't break any needle. The purple one has matching purple embroidery but it looks black in the picture. |
Very snazzy! (You need a vintage machine to sew through multiple layers.)
they are awesome!! love the Kaffee fabrics. I need to make a few out of batiks too.
Cool pot holders. What did you use for filling?
beautifully done!
Great looking pot holders. I wish I had fancy ones like those! :)

Cute pot holders!

Thank you.
Quiltnlady1, I used 2 layers of cotton batting and one layer of Insulbrite. |
They look too nice to use. Very well done.
What cute potholders! Looks like you and your new machine bonded. Great results.

Lovely potholders...too nice to use. Hang as small pictures!
Really gorgeous. Too pretty to use!
Those are lovely!
Very nice, a good way to use up fabric. I don't use the loops so don't put them on. I don't know how many still hang their pot holders up like years ago.
These make great little gifts. Good job.
Wow! Very upscale. Just love them.
How cute those are!! Great job w/the deco stitches. I have lots too but just never think to use them. Kathy

I really like your new pot holders! They are so colorful.
Thank you all.
Bearisgray, they are 8.5" square. |
What a great and beautiful project, a new twist on a plain potholder. They will make nice kitchen decorations, I could not even think of using one for fear of getting it soiled.
They certainly will dress up a kitchen! Love them!
Fantastic potholders!

Bearisgray, they are 8.5" square. Thank you. I always debate about what size a potholder should be. |
What a great way to try out the stitches on your machine. They are gorgeous!
