The first is a quilt I did on a beginners course and the tablerunner I did at home. I did some hand quilting in the centre of the middle square of the tablerunner and I thought I would hate it but actually really enjoyed it. You just never know until you try it I suppose.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. I live in Canberra Australia and the bird is a Crimson Rosella, we always have fresh water out for them at our house and they are frequent visitors especially in summer.

Both are wonderful - what a lovely beginners quilt so nice to see something other than the normal sampler blocks. Your runner well - I love, love it - great job on both. I've not attempted hand quilting as yet just the old SITD & echo quilting. I need to bit the bullet & give stippling another bash LOL. Tisha BTW How is your weather today ??? |
