I started this yesterday from a kit, but they didn't give me enough fusible web. Or maybe I didn't lay it out correctly. Anyway, I ran out. So I have one half of a heart to finish yet. In the back ground of the one you can see my trusty little singer. I put the patterns finished pic there too so you can see what it is suppose to turn out like.

I haven't cut that much with a scissors in a while.

mgshaw 07-21-2008 06:22 AM

That is gorgeous!! Just looking at the background fabric, it doesnt look like something I would ever pick out, but wow with those hearts it is fantastic!! I love it!!! Do you know what line that fabric is? What is the pattern or kit called?

maggiebooboo 07-21-2008 06:22 AM

Thank you all for your nice compliments. I am going to see if they have more fusible web at Walmart on my lunch break. Who knows though, because I'm in a small town and it doesn't have everything. I think when I stitch down the hearts I am going to match my thread to the color of the heart, then later quilt in a gold metalic. Any suggestions on this are welcome. But I might do the whole thing on my long arm. That will be my first real project on it.

I can check on the line of the fabric. The pattern was designed by a lady at a (somewhat) local quilt shop. It is called Two Hearts as One.
They told me I wouldn't find it anywhere else.

SewSew2 07-21-2008 06:30 AM

maggiebooboo 07-21-2008 06:32 AM

I got it in a little quilt shop in Anoka MN. This is their website, www.bardellafabricarts.com. I don't see the kit there, but if you email them you could probably by it on online somehow.
