Great job. Wish I could get mine to look that good.

You did great. The more you do the better you will get. Actually the more you do the easier it seems to you.

Wow! I'm impressed and a bit jealous. My first attempt looked like someone quilting while sailing on rough seas, truly awful.
Just as pretty from the back. You did a great job of FMQ.

That looks really great! You should be proud...
WOW, you really put lots and lots of quilting into this. You sure must have spent lots of time doing it. I think that you did an excellent job. Wy to go.
That looks really good, first or not. I'm impressed.
I think you did great too! Love the stars. (Can I say this ..... I like the back of your quilt better than the front? I love the yellow thread on the orange fabric (at least, it looks orange on my computer!)
Great job, hope you had fun doing it. |
looks good to me...I have been FMG'ing today and I finally bought gloves...what a difference. I could not believe it....totally worth buying gloves. I got some at Joanns and they were only 4.00 and than I had a coupon...so for about 2.00 I just made FMQ'ng 100 percent easier!!!its a breeze to do stimpling and to keep the curves rounded.
do you have a machine that is sunk into a table or just are you working with the small plate or work surface (dont really know what its called ) of the machine. If its the smaller, I would recommend you make a little table to extend your work surface. I did that and it made it much easier to do smooth curves. You are doing good, and you will really enjoy the savings of not depending on LA service.

Wow, I think it looks great. I'm impressed that it's your first time FMQing. Great job :!:
It looks very, very good. It is more than good enough. Well done.
you all are too kind.
It was a LOT of work. I think I feel like every spot has to have stitches on it. Need to practice leaving some space. I do have the machine where the whole surface is flat. Now have another machine set up so that it will be perpendicular to the fabric...hope this makes its easier...will post my next attempt if I ever get to sewing again...been busy folding that fabric. Thank you again for your encouragement! |
Well done!
Great job! If only I could do half as well.
Great job, you should be very proud.
Wow! Great job!
I think it's wonderful.
I think you did a great job. Love your quilt.
You are really selling yourself short. The mq is very nice, better than I could do and the pattern is really cute, too. I like how you broke up the blocks with the polka dots.
Oh my that is a good good Job. you should be proud.

Looks very good, you are so brave to try shapes your first time. It all turned out very good. I just do a large meander, no shapes of any kind.
