That is one pretty quilt! I love the colors.

Love it, anything purple/lavender gets my attention. Thanks for sharing the information on the software as well!

That is great. Couldn't tell it was your first.

Very nice, I'll have to try to do a bargello one of these days!

Well done, great job on enlarging size.

Would you send me the link to the soft ware you spoke of? Thanks!

Love your idea I want to make a full size bargello quilt, but not all bargello. Diane C.

Good idea using the log cabin blocks to increase the size of the quilt. They play very nicely with the Bargello section.

Hi there, thank you all for you great comments, it means a lot to me.

As for the Bargello sketcher program, I simply did a Google search and it came up straight away.

the info section on the program doesn't mention working with Windows 10, but I took a chance anyway and yes it does work lol. It includes a great how-to section which will guide you very easily.

It will let you scan in your own fabrics, but I just used the supplied generic colours. You can draw simple curves and have the program mirror it both horizontal and vertical.

I did draw a lot of curves before I found one I was happy with..... Lol

regards, K
