My first Feathered Star

I have always favored "star" block over most other quilt blocks. This past "HOT" weekend, I stayed inside and tackled my first try at a Feathered Star block. I found a tutorial online and it was quite easy to follow along. Molly's Place: FEATHERED STAR TUTORIALsewhappy10000.blogspot.com/2010/05/feathered-star-tutorial.html
This is not the fabric I intended on using, but thought I best try with older fabric I didn't care for just in case it didn't work out the first time. BUT IT DID! I am tickled how easy it was to put together. My square is about 16" I remember thinking as I was putting this together how relaxed I felt creating this little ditty! Hope you like! |
your picture didn't come through yet.
