Your satin binding turned out well. Little girls love to touch satin as they fall asleep.

That is an adorable quilt. Your quilting looks great, corners mitered perfectly and satin binding - wow. That is all I remember of my first "blankie" - it had a satin binding.

My first and most loved blankie had a satin binding too...that was a big part of why I wanted to use it for my DDs quilt. :D
