My first log cabin-Kentucky christmas

Have never done a log cabin quilt-I loved piecing this! It was a nice break from persnickety piecing! Cutting the 1 1/4" logs took awhile, but after getting organized, they went together quickly. I am assembling rows, and trying to decide on a border....suggestions welcome! ;) pattern is Kentucky Log Cabin by Judy Martin.

Oh my goodness! I love this! Log cabins of any kind are my all time favorites!! And I think they are so fun to make. My next one will be Snake River!! Yours is beautiful!!!!!

That's a really neat layout for log cabin blocks. I had an idea for your border, and mocked it up in EQ7. I kinda like it, but it might be a little too busy?
