That came out awesome! Is the center square a batik? It sure looks like one that was in my stash for years and I finally used it in my current WIP. I loved that fabric and wish I had more.

Nope, not a batik. Just a cotton that looks like jungle ferns or something like that. I really liked it. My MIL has a dark brown sofa and a bright orange sofa in her home. So I was looking for something that would work with both.

Very nice. If she doesn't like it there is something wrong with her. I'd love it and and give it a good home.

Thanks for all your nice comments. I got lucky with my MIL. She's pretty special. I quilted this on my short-arm and frame. The pattern is a panto that is about 4 inches wide. It was lots of fun, but the hardest part for me was trying to choose the fabrics.

I love it. I am not a fan of browns and I am getting better with them. I really love what you did. Great job.
