Loved the idea of this pattern. The pattern was simple and I like the results after all was sown together:thumbup: I'll definitely try this one again

Awesome! That's your first experience with this quilting technique? You did a wonderful job!

Beautiful, great first OBW. Years ago I wanted to make one. Still haven't, I may one day.

You did a wonderful job on the arrangement.

Great OBW and I bet you will be making another one soon because they are fun!

Gorgeous!!!! I want to make one I have the fabric I am wanting to make it out of but waiting for someone to hold my hand :o
Very pretty quilt!
That was a glorious choice of fabric! Great composition, too!
I love your quilt and the fabric that you started with. I have made one, but didn't have enough contrast in the fabric and was disappointed. But, your quilt gives me encouragement to keep looking for just the right fabric and give it another try. Thanks so much for posting.

Unusual colors but what an eye-catcher it is! Really nice!
Totally awesome.
So beautiful! I don't understand how you make one yet, but it is on my list to learn- great job!
That looks great! You chose a really good fabric for an OBW. To me, it looks like fireworks underwater, LOL!
Oooooooo, beautiful! That reminds me-- i have the fabric, why haven't I done this? Maybe we should do a saturday live tute where a group of us can be on line and doing this together. Anyone interested?
I like it. I made one out of the same fabric but can't seem to arrange the blocks in a manner I'm willing to commit to. I will have to study yours for inspiration.
Great shapes and colors! Love it.
I love the colors and how they melt into each other. Very pretty.
I love your OBW. Beautiful.
Beautiful!!! Definitely on my bucket list!
I did one and was not pleased ...Yours is much nicer than mine. Oh well.
Beautiful! That is actually a fabric I had picked out for a OBW but haven't purchased yet, now I'm going to!
I love that! the colors are beautiful... Aren't OBW's fun?
faykilgore, I think the hardest part is when you put it on the design wall and try to put it together.. I think the book says to start with your favorite block and put it in the middle of the design wall then sort of take the same colors as around that block and make them flow into each other.. clear as mud huh?
Just beautiful!
Beautiful.
OBW's are my favorite quilts. They are just so unique. You did a wonderful job. The second one is even easier. LOL
Looks great and it's fun that you used the original fabric as the border.
Love all the colors...
I love OBWs, and yours is very pretty. I like the way you've included the original fabric in the border, too.
