My first Paper Piecing Project

This is one block of many for my first paper piecing quilt I'm working on. The pattern is called Eyes of March from quilterscache.com. After a few test blocks, I feel very comfortable working with paper piecing! As soon as I stop playing with the "new board" I'll get back to finishing up the quilt! :)

Thanks everyone! I'm finding it to be a little time consuming because it takes me an hour or so for one block. Maybe I'm just being too careful not to mess up :o

It's very pretty. Is paper piecing hard? I'm a little intimidated by paper piecing since I've never actually seen it done; I've only seen the results.

Very pretty job - nice points and great color. I know what you mean about 'playing' with the board! We'll get used to it though, even though I personally liked it the way it was.

your block is fantastic. i just tried a small 6in pp pattern to see how i liked it. (it was my first one) i loved it. it was fun. i can't wait to see your finished quilt. the colors are so warm and coz.
