If all disasters could look this good there would be fewer worries in the world. It is so charming. I love it. The blocks look huge! Using a petal motif in the open areas nicely mimics the plates. I would call this a treasure, for sure!

A co-worker asked me to finish this quilt. Her mother (who passed away 10+ years ago) had pieced the blocks, but never joined them. I added the setting blocks, the blue border and the piano key border, and the backing. Then quilted it. This is my first "custom" quilt - that is, not just FMQ or panto's. Please tell me this is not a disaster. |
