I made this pattern called Quatrefoil from the Missouri Star Quilt Co.. It was hard for me and I did more unsewing than sewing! I sent it out to be quilted and now it is on our bed.

You might have done some ripping, but in the end it is just beautiful! Congratulations. Love the pattern, have it saved with fabric I will use. Not starting until some other things are caught up and DONE!! Hope mine will end up as lovely as yours is.

Great job!

annt59 12-30-2016 08:39 PM

You did really well on this qwueen size quilt. My biggest has only been a lap quilt.

ellifour 12-30-2016 10:03 PM

I really like how it looks like a two block quilt but isn't . Cheery color palate. Congratulations on your first queen size, now on to another, then another and then its a piece of cake.

Beautiful vibrant colors. We all do some unsewing. That's how we learn. Looks like you mastered it. Great job. Enjoy

jmoore 12-31-2016 04:38 AM

Congratulations on your first big finish...it looks lovely.

MargeD 12-31-2016 05:02 AM

It looks wonderful. You did a great job and with each quilt you make I'm sure you will do less and less "unsewing", although I still sometimes have to "unsew" a quilt now and then.

Taughtby Grandma 12-31-2016 06:02 AM

Very pretty! I love the bright colors.

quilterpurpledog 12-31-2016 06:07 AM

You certainly chose a perfect pattern and lovely colors for your first queen sized quilt. It is truly beautiful and I hope you enjoy it. I admire you for sticking to it in spite of difficulties. Hopefully, for next time, you can put those things you learned the hard way this time to good use. Good luck on your next quilt!
