This is the first quilt I've ever made. It's far from perfect, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it so far. The blocks are done, but I haven't attached them to each other yet. Then there will be a border. Then... the joy of actually quilting it, which is really exciting to me!

Just don't look too closely. You'll see that a fair number of triangles don't end in sharp points. And I accidentally cut about 300 extra half-square triangles. LOL I can't BELIEVE how many extras I have. Enough to make a baby quilt, at least. Craziness!

Well you could use them for a border, add a narrow strip of contrasting fabric to separate...it will look amazing!

I really like this idea. And since I'd be doing a contrasting border between the blocks and the triangle border, I could make the contrasting border exactly the right length for the math to work.
