You are doing an amazine job on such a difficult pattern! Thought I'd show you a quilt I saw at the Dallas Quilt show yesterday. See the blue ribbon? Yours will equal this!

I just found the link thanks
Umm.... whats the name of the quilt pattern? Beautiful gradation of the colors. You must have sewn alot before, just not quilted?
that is stunning

You are doing a great job. I love the pattern. Keep up the good job and your sister will be thrilled and surprised. One quistion... is this really your first quilt??????
This is AMAZING for a first quilt!!! I don't show many people my first pathetic attempt! But THIS is something to be proud of!!
This is just gorgeous, what a stunner, and your first quilt, i am so impressed!!!
It is called Starburst (http://www.lockwoodquilts.com/store/...starburst.html) I didn't use the recommended fabric line in the pattern. I used South Sea Imports line called Complements Spatter (http://www.southseaimports.com/Allfa...r%2012%3C/i%3E)
I have sewn before with various crafting projects and some clothes, but never a quilt this big or complicated. I usually like quick projects that can be done in a day or two. :) |
