It's mostly big half square triangles. Just find a method of making those that works for you and give it a whirl. Remember to be patient. Speedy only leads to ripping seams. This I know. :)

Hi again. Understanding that you are a beginner, I want to say not to be afraid of this pattern. Yes it does have what is called bias edges which can stretch if not handled gently. Not to fear this!

Starch the fabric twice. Spray and let it soak in, press it and then do it again. I like to starch on the back of the fabric.

Do some trial blocks before you cut the entire quilt.

When you press the block open do it from the top side and gentlylift the edge of the fabric and get the tip of the iron close to the seam and just let it flip open as you press. You can find video tutorials on this.

Follow the instructions and if you have ? the QB is right here to help and I have the pattern so I can maybe help.

The bias edge shouldn't be a problem cause they are sewn before they are cut so they will be stable.

Sew slow and don't pull the fabric.

Go for it with no fear. You have to start somewhere and this is a good place to jump in!

Remember it is just fabric.

peace
