Saw the suggestion about posting pictures of "first" quilts. Here's mine. I called it my kaleidoscope quilt, but just because that's what it reminded me of .... didn't know there was a whole "Genre" of quilts with that name! I came up with the design myself. The solid fabrics were from a package of hand-dyed fabrics done by a local artist.

Don't part with it. There is something very special to all of us with our first quilt. Its the one that gave us the... BUG. Hang it up and enjoy it for the accomplishment you achieved. IT looks like you used flannel. For a first quilt? WOW. I still don't use flannel as it moves more than I am comfortable with. Your quilting is perfect. Would you quilt my quilts for me??

It would be great as a baby quilt. BUT....if you love it, then keep it. This is a beautiful and very colorful quilt. You did a great job and I love it.
