If you're refering to your memory card, there should be a small slot somewhere on your computer--on the front of your computer if it's a desktop or somewhere on the side or front if it's a laptop. It's a really small slot.
-----------------------------------------
My own HP Photosmart C5280 All-In-One printer has 4 slots on the bottom left
side. One of these SHOULD be a memory card slot...but which one I haven't
the slightest idea. Just check out your own printer, it might have some slots
for the memory card.
I'll have to look at the papers that came with it..as soon as I can find them.

I think the slots on the printer are used to print out pics off the memory card. I don't know that it will transfer the pics to the computer but printers are getting smarter and smarter these days. At any rate, she was able to find the slot on her computer as evidenced by all the wonderful pics she's been posting

Gee this is darling! You did a fabulous job on the freemotion embroidery/ quilting! I love the tennessee waltz pattern too. I bought it to make a quilt for a relative who lives there.

sylslight 05-13-2010 09:37 AM

That it super cute dragon!!!! Maybe one day i will be brave and try free motion again!!!

Lyn4ty 05-13-2010 11:51 AM

the dragon is adorable and the stitching is WOW!

OLDNTATTED 05-13-2010 12:12 PM

Good job.
You finished that one up pretty quick.
I'm still a long way off from finishing mine.
How big is it?

Ray..

kwiltkrazy 05-13-2010 03:10 PM

Not finished yet, that's only one of the dragons, it has 21, finished another three last night, have 17 more to do. A picture of my trapuntoed piece is on the thread Funky houses, page 38. You really inspired me with your beautiful dragon quilt.

kwiltkrazy 05-13-2010 03:13 PM

Sylslight, if you really want to do free motion quilting try the website daystyledesigns.com, I could do a basic fm, but after watching all her stuff I really got better, of course I practiced, practiced, and practiced some more. She's great, gives a lot og good advice and technique. But, I know yu can do it.

kwiltkrazy 05-13-2010 03:14 PM

Correction Oldntatted, its called funky neighborhood.

kwiltkrazy 05-13-2010 03:37 PM

Sorry Oldntatted, I didn't answer your question. The quilt is 88x 100, and the dragon heads are 13" on point. I tend to get carried away with the size of the quilt, they just grow and grow. But, I'm learning. Have done a lot of small projects lately.

IBQUILTIN 05-13-2010 03:43 PM

That dragon is adorable

fladack 05-13-2010 06:30 PM

He's adorable! I'm sure your nephew will appreciate the thought and effort.

wildyard 05-13-2010 06:31 PM

Just awesome!!

jazzy519 05-14-2010 04:32 AM

That is very pretty.

Tippy 05-14-2010 05:31 AM

Oh my!! I love dragons also.. great name for a quilt.. "The Drunken Dragon." Reminds me of the Jackie Chan movie.. The Drunken Master... it is sooo cute.

kwiltkrazy 05-14-2010 10:56 AM

Yarn or Fabric, thanks for the quilt title suggestion. That's what my husband calls it. But, officially, it's called "Dragon's Waltz".

theresse 05-14-2010 11:41 AM

Love that Dragon

craftybear 05-16-2010 12:11 PM

Your dragon is marvelous. I am just green  with envy and wish I had the skills to do all of that free motion machine quilting!

kwiltkrazy 05-18-2010 10:48 AM

Joan, you do have the skill, it just hasn't come out yet. It just takes practice, practice, and more practice. I have gotten so much better, since, I found the website: daystyledesigns.com, this lady is just great, and her different quilt fillers are so much fun. Don't start with a full quilt, do the practice squares she suggests(I did 9x9), and don't get discouraged, after all, you didn't learn cursive overnight, you just practiced, same with free-motion. I'm having a ball with it.

Your encouragement is much appreciated, Kwiltkrazy. I looked at the website and it did seemed exceptional and filled with lots of ideas. It has been bookmarked! I took a class in FMQ (with a great teacher, I might add) and had mostly birdnests of thread on the bottom of my practice quilt squares, thread that kept breaking and a stiff neck at the end of the day. I found out the hard way that one needs to use "good" thread not Coats & Clark for FMQ (sorry to everyone out there that uses it). I also learned that my Janome has a narrow throat and that I will probably have to upgrade to a "bigger" machine before quilting anything of any size bigger than a crib quilt. But, you are absolutely correct that it just takes lots of practice. Regardless, I still have admiration for anyone who can quilt with such skill. (and yes, I'll get there eventually)

Joe 05-18-2010 07:14 PM

I'm amazed that you can do that on a machine!! Nice job! I thought it was hand quilted! Amazing!!

kwiltkrazy 05-19-2010 09:13 AM

Joan, you need to pull your bobbin thread up before you start quilting, hopefully, that will stop your birds nests. What Janome do you have? They're a good machine, I know ladies that quilt quite easily on the gem. I know the throat size being small is a real hassle, but I found that if you puddle instead of roll it is a lot easier. And also, don't sit for so long at a time. You need to get up and move around.

I have a Jem Gold. I bought it new on E Bay with the "Quilting Pkg."---extension table, walking foot, plate to cover feed dogs. I really like this machine and have had no complaints! I'm quilting in the ditich a wall hanging right now. (small 36" x 39") and can really see that the throat size is very important. I just know myself and that eventually I'll want to be able to free motion quilt!!!!

kwiltkrazy 05-19-2010 11:53 PM

Yeah, you really want to learn, it really dresses up your quilts, plus, it really is a blast.

OLDNTATTED 05-22-2010 09:36 PM

Hi there KK, how is that masterpiece comming along? I have added more to mine let me know what you think...
Happy quilting. My fellow dragon slayer, or would that be dragon master?
