This quilt is just gorgeous. Finish it off with a border of something, and it should be a winner. I am sure they will just love it. Congratulations. Please show us the finished project.

That is a great first quilt and you did a fantastic job. Welcome to the quilting world.

I just love this pattern. I made the same one out of scraps and it is my favorite. I like your use of the batiks. I have been so hesitant to try working with them but I love the look of batiks in this piece. Lovely. A beautiful gift.

It's beautiful! So happy that you gave it a try. I can see many more quilts in your future.

It's beautiful! Would not know it was your first quilt. Just remember to relax, and take your time when quilting it. Always pull your bobbin thread up from back, so you don't get bird's nests. But most of all have fun.

wonderful color selection! That's where I have the toughest time.

Sew pretty! Great job! :)

Feedback? Well I guess the only thing I have is don't be scared to quilt it. You already know how to sew and make dolls, and those skills carry over to quilting. If you relax while quilting, you'll probably end up with a much better product then if you let fear get in the way of what you really want to do.

Lovely top by the way. Your use of values really gives the top great movement and you haven't even quilted it yet.
