Default My First

I just starting quilting and realize that I missed my calling. I have been a sewer for many years making clothes in my younger years and then soft sculpted art dolls until a few years ago. I decided it was time to do something different. I'm attaching a picture of my very first lap quilt. It is a half square triangle pattern made with batik. It's just the top now but will be attempting to quilt it as soon as I can relieve my apprehensions. This is going to be a Christmas present for my son and his girlfriend. I would like some feedback please. Thank you for looking.

All of the above and more! I just love the pattern and your colors - I really must make one like that - some day.
