My First time sewing, first Quilt, and first time quilting a top.
My First time sewing I had a great time making it, mom gave me a few pointers and turned me loose with it. It is not perfect but I learned a bunch on it. It is going on the couch as soon as I get the binding put on it.
I picked up a bunch of fat quarters yesterday I'll be starting a new one before long. I forgot to add I shouldn't have waited until I was in my 40's to start Quilting.

Very impressive first quilt.
It looks like a great quilter is blooming. Thanks for sharing. 40 is just being a kid..... |
That is so cute! I think you did a great job.

A new quilter is born! I think it turned out great! Looks nice and cozy. It's exciting to know you are planning your next one.

Very nice work! Don't feel bad for being 40 before you got your start at quilting. I was 52!
|
Welcome future quilter! Isn't piecing and quilting interesting? It can be calming too. I'm glad that you discovered this art form. May you have many happy years quilting. I discovered quilting in my 30's, and have been doing it for about 10 years. Absolutely love it. Welcome!
