My French Rose Quilt
3 Attachment(s)
This is the first time for this type of quilt. It was easier than I expected. Had a fun time with the quilting. I ahttp://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...1&d=1358631030lso learned a very good lesson with this quilt. I used freezer paper for the quilting design. I stitched over the freezer paper design, but when it came time to remove it, I was pulling stitches out. So I then decided to wash it and hope it came off. Wrong, but at least the paper became soft and easier to take off. I will http://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...1&d=1358630881never use freehttp://www.quiltingboard.com/attachm...1&d=1358630823zer paper again. A hard lesson to learn. I'm just glad it wasn't on a larger quilt. This quilt is 60 x 60.

Pretty...I learn something new with each quilt, and I try to do a different pattern every project. Nice job.
Sorry my story got all messed up. I'm knew at this. I eventually will get the hang of it. I also need to learn to take better pictures. lol
That's a lovely quilt. Really pretty colors. Nice job.
I have never seen a quilt like this. It is wonderful!
The quilt looks great. I made one a few years ago and it was a fun, easy quilt to make.
I'm so glad you posted this photo - a long while back I saw this pattern and made a mental note that I wanted to make one just like it. Should have made a written note! Love your color combinations and your quilting.
I love this! It's very old fashioned looking, and pretty! Is there a pattern?
So nice to hear/know that it is easier than anticipated ... it is just gorgeous!
pretty! It looks like it was a fun one to make despite the freezer paper issues! It really is a cheerful quilt!!
Yes that is a fun looking quilt. It seems like we learn a new lesson with every project. As long as we are still learning all is well with the world.

A friend of mine admired this quilt in a shop, and I bought the pattern for it to make one for her, even though it's not my thing. I've dreaded making it, so good to know that it wasn't as much hassle as you thought it would be.
That is such an unusual pattern I haven't seen anything like that before it's lovely.
Great job.
Absolutely love this. When I walked into our local quilt shop for the very first time this quilt was on display. I fell in love with it and hoped that someday I'd have to skills to make it. Haven't thought about it lately, but I do believe that "someday" has arrived and I can handle this quilt. Thanks for the reminder of my first love. :)

I really love this quilt and the pattern. Your color choices are perfect together. I also would like to know if there is a pattern available. Thanks for sharing.

Great job!
nice lots of happy colours
Love your quilt. I made a bed runner (my avatar picture) with this pattern and it is my very favourite quilt ever. Didn't have the pattern so I just cut out some "blobs" and went from there. It really is a very fun pattern to do.
Very pretty quilt and you did a great job on your quilting.
Thanks for sharing pictures of your quilt. Makes me want to make another raw edge quilt.
I really like your quilt! Good job.
cute cute :)

This is a very cool quilt. Great quilt for using scraps. I use tissue paper for my quilting designs. My MIL was a nurse at a Dr's office where they used the rolls of tissue paper on the examining table. She got cases of it for me because it had advertisements on it that the Dr. didn't like. Works like a charm.

I made this same quilt and love mine as well. It was so easy but your quilting makes it. I hand quilted mine. And quilted random leaves on vine on the borders. Your colors are much like mine. Love this quilt.

Great job! I am your neighbor in citrus co

Very nice...I may have to try one of these someday.
What a yummy quilt, it looks fresh enough to eat and I just love it.
I love it I made one, a couple of years ago. Yours is great.
