5 of us gals did this Spool Sampler quilt from online, and mine isn't finished yet. Wanted to share my friend's with you. She is entering it in a quilt show this weekend. Wishing her luck!!

i can honestly say, that pattern has never been a favorite of mine, if mine had looked like this, i would of made another one!
..but hers is beautiful! it must be the light and dark fabrics surrounding/making of the spool. a real stunning quilt! Good Luck to her! |

oh now that's lovely. blocks within the spools. at a recent quilt show i saw house blocks with pieced blks for the main section of the house. I loved it too!!

Is it really 87" x 87" with 15" blocks as the downloaded pattern says? The picture doesn't look that big! Your friends looks to be a more practical size. Please share your modifications. Thanks
