Your quilt is absolutely beautiful!!!

this is your first?? Wow! I think it looks great!

It is very good.
I love it. Can see absolutely nothing wrong with it. J J |
Ok, I want to tell you that my first quilt top was not that intricate. You have accomplished success far beyond what most beginners could achieve. So be proud of your quilt top. And another thing.....when I have mistakes that show....corners not meeting together exactly I am Ok with it. When my two daughters look over my accomplishments after I am no longer here they will say,"Look, mom was human, her quilts were not perfect ad she was satisfied with her work". Make sure you sew a label on the back when finished so everyone will know who did it and when, and give it a name. What a beautiful accomplishment !!! Koreen

Oh posh. It's fun. And who cares if it isn't perfect. Anyone who criticizes can just try to make one of their own. It's not that easy!
|
It's very pretty! Don't sweat the small stuff. Each quilt is a journey that we learn something from. Your quilt is a keeper that will be well loved.

I love the quilt. Have you tried the one seam flying geese? They are wonderful and fast. You use a little more fabric but worth it because of the time you save.
|
I like this top, I would finish it. If you don't like it, why don't you sell it? I'm very sure it would sell. Good job.

When I read you description, I was expecting an UGLY quilt. I was shocked to see what you consider "ugly". That is very pretty!!! When you quilt the top, the mismatch spots will disappear in the "quilting ditches". Be PROUD of your accomplishment...all of us quilters would like to have our first top or second, third...be "perfect" but then we don't have the excuse that we need to practice more, more, more, shop, shop, collect fabric, I need this fabric-it's perfect for my stash for someday..........Pat yourself on your back! my top is ready for the quilter--YEAAAA

You are being WAY TOO HARD on yourself...the quilt top is gorgeous! You have a wonderful play of lights and darks, so important in a quilt. I love the reds and charcoals...stunning. Often we just get a bit tired of looking at a project. Get it quilted and bound and it may even turn out to be a favorite.
