My grandson's quilt finally!!

Well, I finally got the pictures that my daughter took of myself and Hunter making his little quilt and pillow on my new FW. This was last year in March right after I got the FW, Broke my elbow and was staying there for Dr. appts. I thought he did a great job and it was made using remnants from Hobby Lobby and Joann's. will have to try another post for another picture won't let me do it.:p

jackiej 09-22-2012 06:39 AM

That picture is priceless.. Looks like he likes it.

How great.
This photo brings memory to me when my grandson and I use to do this.
He was always wanting to sew and we had the best time.
Thanks for the memories.

keep encouraging him - nothing like a man quilter in the household! He looks so intent while sewing - and what a wonderful reminder of grandma showing him how to - watcing over him... heartwarming picture... Love it -

How wonderful for him that he has you for a DGM. So wonderful that you can pass your craft on to him.

How special for both of you!
This photo brought back sweet memories of teaching my grandson how to sew and piece two summers ago. He was 11 and we went on to piece some more at Christmas that year, then I finished the quilt for which he had chosen all the colors. Wish I had pictures of it all.:(

I love these types of pictures. I wish I had pics of my dearly departed grandmother teaching ME how to sew at that age. Those are some of my most favorite memories. :)

jackied 09-22-2012 10:39 AM

Making memories! You may have a future designer going there.

Such sweet pictures of you both. He is very serious about doing it right. We need more quilters. Great looking pillow and quilt.

amyjo 09-22-2012 07:50 PM

Should have put in the post that he designed this quilt himself too. I don't think it cost me $10 total, everything was in the remnants and the crib quilt batting was too.
