This is a quilt top my mom gave me for my birthday. I just got it finished...now it is time to pick a fabric for the binding.
It is machine quilted. All free hand. I used soft and bright batting. I usually use warm and natural, but I'm thinking I should try the poly out to see how I like it. :) Thanks for looking.

Stunning! The quilting is perfect, and I like your choice of batting for this one.

So beautiful, I love the yellow background color. I've been using more poly battings recently, the price of cotton batting is so high now. I've used various types and brands, I've been happy with all of them so far.

Lol....it is for me so I did it. I would never do it with anyone else's quilts. The grass was just cut so I didn't want to get it all full of grass.

I will try that one. I've been trying to venture out on the battings I use instead of using warm and natural for everything.

Yes, I quilted it. It was all done freehand on a long arm. Thank you!!!!

It's a lovely top and your quilting is very fluid and graceful. I'll be interested in what you pick as binding. My first option would be the yellow because it blends and is easier (for me). It would be nice to use the colors in a spiral binding. Since the top was a gift you won't have the fabrics....interesting.

I have a green that matches the vine(I think I have some anyways). I think I might use that for the binding.
