I really like two of the three. The storm at sea was a kit The green/purple one was the Devil's Child I was having problems with last weekend. The pattern is the Minnesota Hot dish

Oh that brown one is beautiful!! What is that pattern?

JanetM 05-12-2010 05:28 PM

I like all of them but if I had to pick a favorite I would choose the one in the middle...beautiful contrast in your fabric choices...very dynamic. :D

seamstome 05-12-2010 05:58 PM

Number 2 is a crazy curves pattern called Serenity and is made with templates. Elisa's Backporch Designs I think is the company's name.

seamstome 05-12-2010 05:59 PM

Thank you so much for the compliments.

barnbum 05-12-2010 06:23 PM

Beautiful quilts! Love the Storm at Sea!

Jo Doherty 05-13-2010 09:15 AM

Would love to know where you got the pattern for Devil Child. It would make a wonderful Southwestern Quilt. I love all three but that one really hits the spot with me.

GrammaNan 05-13-2010 10:35 AM

They are all beautiful. Thank you for sharing.

seamstome 05-13-2010 11:02 AM

The name of the pattern is "Minnesota Hot Dish" not Devil Child--I just named it that because I had difficulties getting the color rotations correct in my brain. You can do it with the solid background or a scrappy background. I can look up the designer when I get home.

I did the first quilt in Browns and Teals for my father...this one green and purple is for my Mom. The Browns and teals did have a Southwestern look.

Jo Doherty 05-13-2010 11:13 AM

Thanks so much for the info. Hopefully I can find it at some website. Let me know who the maker is if you have time. Thanks.

Lyn4ty 05-13-2010 11:50 AM

They are all so beautiful!
