This is a quilt I made for the Alzheimer's Art Quilt Initiative November auction (at least I think it will be in November's auction). It is inspired by a painting by Synthia Saint James, who was gracious enough to give me her written permission to use her design. She called her painting "Tchokola." I'm going to ask her for the translation. I'm naming it "Dance to the Music." The earrings are made from jump hoops used for making jewelry. In other words, 3D. Very fun. I hope you like my quilt.

I love your quilt. Very original and artistic and it must have given the original artist a thrill to think that you wanted to make a quilt after her artwork

That is BEAUTIFUL! You did a wonderful job!

Very nice quilt.
There's a Jazz-fusion album by Jean-Luc Ponty titled Tchokola. Wonder if there's any relation. Nice music too. You can listen to it on Youtube. I wonder if tchokola means chocolate because it sure sounds like it. |
Fabulous. Well done.
