My latest art quilt........a winner!

This was my guild chapter challenge! We all drew a paint chip from a bag and you guessed it, I drew the color orange! Our creation could be any size, but was to be predominately the paint color that we drew. "Island Tranquility" measures 30" X 36". The background fabrics were ice dyed and smaller pieces were hand cut and placed on top. It was then free motion quilted. I was honored to win this challenge!

A beautiful sunset which many of us will never see in real life. The reflections on the water would have been hard to figure out. Beautiful seascape.
