My Latest Art Quilt......A winner!!
 

"Winter on the Farm" received the Viewer's Choice award at the Coolidge Cotton Patchers quilt show! What an honor! This quilt measures 27" X 32" and is the result of the "Black & White Plus 10" challenge. All fabric used was to be only black and white with not more than 10% of another color. Breathtakingly Beautiful! Did you quilt it, then put in the fence and trees? Even the vegetation near the barn seems to have ice clinging to it.

The choice of subject, the choice of sky fabric, the shrubs near the barn, the fencing, the quilting with tractor trail and all........make a really wonderful, visually fun to explore quilt. Definitely an award winner, well deserved!!

Absolutely wonderful quilt! I love snow scenes and this one is perfect. The red barn really stands out and the quilting ..... well, it is supurb. I can almost feel the chill. Yep, it certainly is a winner.
