I started this some time ago for my sister. She wants a quilt, blue of course, single design.... To make sure it was what she wanted (I am in AZ, she is in NY) I sent pictures and ended up sending pieces of fabric. Nope, that wasn't the colors she wanted.... so I just put the blocks into a 'later, dude' pile. Then a gal at work was getting married today and I decided I'd 'throw' this together for her. Well, I did manage to get it done, but everything that could go wrong did! Murphy's Law was alive and well around here for 2 weeks. First, I needed more of the light blue fabric, next I couldn't figure out what border I wanted for top and bottom, then I didn't have enough backing fabric, then my timing was off on my quilt machine...... sigh...... So I was up very late the night before I gave it away finishing the binding, BUT I did get it done!
