The first 2 pics are a wall hanging a friend asked to to make for her to give as a gift.
The second 2 pics are the quilt I made for our grandson for his 13th birthday. He's really pleased with it as you can see. The final 2 pics are " Maple Leaf Log Cabin" from allpeoplequilt.com. Fun and very quick to make. I use mostly batiks. It's all ready for me to quilt now...Maybe next week. Thanks for looking, Drue |

Thanks for the kind words.
The Rooster was supposed to be done in the wool, but I'm allergic to wool, so it's all cottons and machine appliqued. I made the grandson's quilt where it was reversible. nunny Jo, I love your avatar. Could you tell me what the pattern is that you used for your beautiful quilt? Thanks and Hugs, Drue |

What a cute grandson! He looks so happy with his quilt. Isn't it amazing how boys and men love quilts? I was shocked when I gave my first ones to my boys years ago. They left home with them and took great care of them.
I think your work is very neat and well executed. I just love the fall one so much! |

|
Once again, thanks to all for such nice comments.
I got the Rooster pattern from Keepsake Quilting when they were running a sale around Christmastime. The leaf pattern was free from allpeoplequilt.com . Our Miniature Schnauzer is named Maggie and for her to be that still when she was that age (2 1/2) was a rare occasion. She's now 5 and stands still for a little bit longer at a time, but not much. Happy Easter to all, Hugs, Drue |
Love them all! I know quite a few ladies who would love to have that Rooster wall hanging. Good Job!
