These are my latest quilts for injured UK soldiers! I was given a bag of 6"squares cut from mens shirts. I have now made 5 quilts from those squares!! It was fun finding different designs! Most were found on this board so thanks to everyone!!

Great Job!! I love the colors.

Wonderful quilts. Nice work.

Nice job! These are very manly looking quilts. But then, not all soldiers are men these days are they.
|
You are doing such a wonderful thing making all these quilts for injured soldiers. The quilts are just wonderful!!!
|
"Beautiful" and "Fantastic" job .... "Love Your Quilts"! I especially like the "masculine" look and colors of your work. Sometimes it is hard to come up with that look and your cause is "Awesome".
|
Beautiful colors!! I may have to copy the first one..

Both beautiful.

This is wonderful. The soldiers are going to love these!
I bet a bunch of quilters would like to make this pattern. I made a couple for kids quilts for Project Linus and they went together quickly and really showed off the novelty fabrics well. Here is a tutorial with photos of the Disappearing Fourpatch>> http://sewwonderful.blogspot.com/201...o-9-patch.html and here is another one from the boards>> http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-55564-1.htm |

these are great, I'm definitely bookmarking this!
|
very nice :)

Your quilts are beautiful, not always easy to come up with manish type quilts as most quilting fabrics are geered towards femanine things. I am very impressed with your colours and designs, well done.

I absolutely love what you did! They are really great quilts for men. To cool.
You might want to check out Quiltville.com there are some great scrap quilts. But Bonnie Hunt of that site did a book on using men's shirts for quilts. Your quilts really are great, |
