This is called Chained Lightning. Design by Pat Campbell. I purchased the pattern at e-PatternsCentral.com
This is paper-pieced. If I do another one I will use the lightweight paper that you can leave in for stablizer. Quilting it was a pain, I will keep this for myself - I am not happy with my quilting. I trimmed up some of the edges after sewing the binding on the front, nothing major, wasn't paying close enough attention and ended up cutting the corners on the binding, which I discovered as I was hand sewing the binding to the back. We live and learn by our mistakes. I still love the colors and will probably use it. |

I love this! I thought of making a table runner with some full size blocks that I made a few years back in a class. I just have not done so yet. I like these.

Very nice. I got that pattern too and then discovered it is paper pieced. I did (or tried to) paper piecing once and said never again.
Very pretty.

Very pretty! It will look good on your table both in the spring and summer months. I love your colors :D Good girl, for not being hard on yourself  Thanks for sharing where you got the pattern also.
I have that pattern but haven't gotten around to doing it yet. I love yours! Great job!
Blessings, MaryAnna |
oh gorgeous!
Beautiful colors, it is a keeper for sure!
I bought the same pattern because I thought it looked so great. However, mine is still on my "to-do" list along with 18 other quilts. So kudos to you for buying and completing it. You should use it with pride since it looks great and no one but you will notice these errors. If you find you aren't using it, give it away and the recipient will enjoy using it and won't notice the errors that you only really noticed when you got to sewing that part!!
Congratulations and pat yourself on the back - Judy |
I saw this pattern and bought it, just haven't made it. You did a fabulous job.
Wonderful
