my latest Tiddlywinks

2 Attachment(s)
The gal who posted her Tiddlywinks quilt last month created a monster in me! These are # 5 and #6 and are made for the charity I sew for. I love using all the scraps that have accumulated. My favorite is the bright one for a girl. But I try to make an equal number of boy's quilts, as it seems the good ladies in our charity seem to like to always make for little girls. Many of the gals make smaller quilts, but I know there is a need for what we call a ''teen'' size, which is about 56'' long. Thanks for looking.

Shelbie 10-01-2014 05:37 PM

It's Tiddlywinks by Roxanne Carter and was issued as a BOM pattern for September 2010. If you google it, you will see it listed as a PDF. Roxanne Carter has quilt patterns on her site for sale but Tiddlywinks is a freebie.

I like it. I also realized when I drew it up that with a different color placement, it becomes spools of thread!

milikaa1 10-02-2014 09:50 PM

I missed that post as I had surgery :/, these are so nice....I would love to make one.

earthwalker 10-03-2014 12:51 AM

What a great way to use scraps, (oh my, another design to try right away before I forget. *sigh*) your quilt colors are very happy. That's a good thing for kids in unhappy situations.

gramquilter2 10-03-2014 10:50 AM
