I absolutely love matroyska dolls so I am working on making a quilt of them for myself. I still have to add the eyes and mouths :) Here is my first block..think I am going to make it 20 blocks total all different dolls.

Thank you everyone for the kind words. I find this paper piece pattern to not be too difficult either. Key is making sure your last white piece on the tops is the right size lol Thank you DianneK for posting the magazine. Yet is the paper piece pattern in Quiltmakers 100 Blocks Vol. 5 Summer 2012.

These dolls always fastenated me when I was a child. I love the way they all fit one inside another.
