For My Little Ladybug - Cuddle Quilt
I'm seriously IN LOVE with this Playtime Quilt Pattern from Karie Patch Designs. Best $9 purchase EVER!
I whipped up one in the "cuddle size" (22" x 22") for my adorable niece, Miss L. http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/att...-image-30-.jpg http://forum.missouriquiltco.com/att...-image-31-.jpg I'm getting much better with matching my seams, but my mitered corners still need some work. I used the binding tool and OMG I LOVE THAT THING!!! I could never get my binds to look good, but this thing is amazing! I used my machine to sew on the binding and then hand-bound it on the back. This quilt is really cool. It has three-dimensional ties on it that you can clip those stroller toys to so they don't lose them :-) Can't wait to give it to her this weekend! Thanks for looking! |
Such a cute quilt. Good work.

Rosie: Love the twisted bow ties, what a cute idea! Perfect for a little girl. So glad your getting satisfaction from improving skills. I've been quilting since the end of the 60's, and improving is still the greatest source of satisfaction. Always so glad to see a new generation falling in love with quilting.

Very cute! Love the tie idea on it too!

The fabric is adorable, I can see why you love it!!!!!
|
Looks like a cute pattern, but I think what makes this ne adorable is the fabric you chose. So cute! And the ones you used for the ties make them look like rosebuds - brilliant!
|
Thank you all for the wonderful comments!! This is the third one of these and surely won't be the last!! It's now my "go-to" pattern for baby gifts :) If only I could find cute boy flannel like this. I need a boy one for a baby shower and can't find anything I like (spent an hour at JoAnns searching).
