I love this. Thanks for sharing.

Prayers for certain. A thought popped into my head as I read. How about having your grand daughter lie down on and trace her sweet baby body as a quilt for your soldier while he is away. You could even put her picture with her Mom on it.

I will have one for my older son and his family but I have to wait until his wife and daughter comes up next week to give me their shoes and hand prints. Oh my older son will not be coming up for Christmas. He is leaving Sunday the 12th for Afghanistan and will be there until end of April to the beginning of May. I would appreciate prayers for out troops. Thank you. Love it! And prayers for the oldest |

We're celebrating Christmas early this year because my father in law is home on his R&R right now, and is going back before Christmas. My IL's are coming here Saturday to celebrate. Here's an extra {hug} for you for when you're missing your son...I know it doesn't replace a hug from his arms, but I understand how you are feeling. |

I'm making the same place mats, which were shown in the December issue of Quilt World magazine for my two nephews, Jacob 12, and Stephen 6. Jacob's shoe is so big his may end up as a table topper! I'm putting their names & the date on the mats so they'll remember how old they were when they received them.Yours are so cute & creative & they definitely have personality!
|
My prayers are with you for the older son. My younger son is due home any day from Afghanistan. Everyday that the Army wasn't on my doorstep was a good day. Quilting really helps deal with the anxiety.
|
Those are darling.
