You did great. Looks good. I don't think it matters whether you use prints or solids. The fact that you arranged an entire quilt that made the placement look terrific it all that matters.

Those are great. I've just started liking solids. I always stayed away from them, but recently started using them for backs. I just love how the quilting shows on the back. Now I think I want to use them on the front. :)

They are all lovely. You could clear up some of the difficult piecing by starching your fabric before you cut out anything. Buy Sta-Flo starch at Walmart and mix it half and half with water. Spray your damp fabric and press dry. Try one block and I think you will be very pleased.

Yes, the cubes were difficult to piece, the other two were piece of cake. I used my own patterns, for cubes you can find books.
