Wow! I was just in Joanns today and bought a "damaged" piece. It was on sale, but they only gave me 10% off for the damage! I want to come shopping at your Joanns!

Congrats! You were very lucky! You scored!

They don't have deals like that at the JOann's in my area. They would cut off the one piece and put that in the scrap bin....

What a wonderful deal! Our Joanns is like that and so is our Hancocks.
I probably won't be buying any fabric for awhile---I hit a garage sale last week and bought 134 yards of fabric. The smallest of the pieces was 1/2 yd.,there were a few that were a yard but most were 2 and 3 yd pieces. Some backing pieces and some white pieces were 6 and 7 yards. It was 50 cents a piece or 3 for $1. It didn't matter how many yards were in the piece, it was still 50 cents. It took two days to wash and dry all of it and a lot of baking soda and vinegar since there were 3 heavy smokers in the house. I'm going to share with my two sisters in Michigan. They quilt too. |
Totally awesome score! I love bargains!
