Amazing what a few cuts here and there can do. Truly a beautiful quilt. Glad you have the before and after pictures.

wow! beautiful transformation! to make it warmer...when i used curly minkee (is that what you meant about the purple eyelash stuff?) i also used warm & natural batting, worked out great held the backing (which is a little slippery) i also made one with dream wool batting, that is my favorite quilt, it is on the bed summer and winter...it is warm, but breaths we do not 'sweat' under it.
i LOVE the transformation you made and this gives me some hope. i have a king size quilt all finished and bound for over a year now...and i am just unhappy with it, keep thinking about cutting it apart and re-making part of it...seeing someone do this... |
Amazing!!!
Very difficult to believe it is the same quilt!!! Great job!!! |
WOW! If you hadn't mentioned the original quilt, I wouldn't have guessed! It's a stunning quilt! Well done!

this transformation is awesome. You would NEVER recognize that these fabrics are the same pieces. Hope your mother likes it much better and that she is feeling much stronger.

What a transformation! Your skills have really grown and your mom is going to love it. Great job!
