Very cute! I agree, it could be a Singer 99 or also called Spartan. It is 3/4 the size of a full size machine.

Thanks for the info I will keep that in mind. My garage closet is the space under the stair case inside my house, so I hope it's pretty good. It is finished like a room - its a crawl in type of closet or storage area with a door that has a seal around it. Its up off the floor of the garage -about knee level if your 5'5. I can crawl in and sit upright to dig around in my stuff. It might make a good hiding place if my kids ever drive me that crazy LOL.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea. I only knew my mom had learned on it. I have used it in the past but not so recently. It's a cute little thing - I have always liked it and when mom died I am glad I didn't have to 'fight' my sister for it :-)
