So a lot of you have been posting pictures of the sewing machines you've found. Here is my NON-found old sewing machine. It was the one my mother learned how to sew on and has been stored in my garage closet for the last 6 years. It's so cute. Behind it sits my new sewing machine also a Singer.

very nice

That's when they made a sturdy sewing machine.

I have my first treadle sewing machine I learned on won't give it up either and it still runs.

Your new one is nice too.

What is a 3/4 machine does that mean it's smaller than others of its period?

Oh, my I have two more machines downstairs an old Viking from the mid 70s and another machine a friend gave me (it doesn't really have a name brand but I really like that one for plain stitches)

Looks very much like the one I learned on!

I love your machine! You are fortunate to have it. I hope it is out of your garage to stay! I had a man who reworks old sewing machines tell me you should never store sewing machines in an area that is not climatized, especially and old machine. He told me this when I told him I had an old machine in storage, and wanted him to take a look at it.
