after my Dad passed away last March my DB told me about a treddle sewing machine in Dad's workshop low and behold I hit the jackpot!! It's gona take a lot of tlc but will be worth every min spent getting her back in shape Her name in Jewel, in memory of her original owner who was my Mom's cousin. It's a Minnosota, made in the early 1900 for Sears has a chain drive to help pull the machine up as the lid is opened all parts are there, cabinet will need lots of work and even some old tools

thanks everyone, the machine to the right is another sewing machine, it belonged to my Mom, it was passed to me when Dad died. My collection is growing, I also have my Grandmother's old singer and 1 (head only) that a local police officer gave me for sewing his badges on his uniform. My take...you can NEVER have to many machines. Have 3 for everyday sewing & quilting.

I agree, and has been said on here before by others - if anyone asks "how many do you need?", you just say, "I only need ONE more".. LOL

I have 20+ (I think)
