These are beautiful! Can someone guide me to where I can get a pattern for making hexagons? This is new to me and I would really like to try. Looks like a great way to fill up extra minutes here and there. Thanks everyone!

The site I use is www.texasfreckles.com You can download and print out the templates! I keep my little sewing kit handy and if I'm going for blood tests/appt etc I just sit doing hexes!!! Other patients are often fascinated!!!!

Thanks for sharing the hexagon template link. I have downloaded the 1.5 size. Your hexagons are an inspiration to get started after broken fingers.

That sounds painful:eek:! Hope you are on the mend and enjoy doing hexes!!!

Love this! I haven't tried them because I've heard they are so addictive... Hate to add another "project", but after seeing yours, I may have to try them out. I'll just blame you for getting me to start them!

Ooooh, that is sooo pretty. Please send a pic when finished, OK. Good luck with the knee.

It is going to be a beautiful quilt. When I looked at the first picture I thought the chair seam was the scar from the surgery!! Had to take a second look. Was thinking the doc did a great job ..... And I work in a OR!!

I wondered about that chair seam too! Your hexagons are lovely. Hope you are healing up nicely.
