thanks all. Hand crank! something else on my wish list. Right up there with a featherweight. I feel confident that they are both going to cross my path one day.

My cabinet is different but I think I have that same machine. It was my grandmothers and by going on the Singer website I found out it was made in 1953 and I forget where. I'll have to take a pic when I get home and post it. :thumbup:
