My new quilts!
8 Attachment(s)
So the Blue one is my Star Pinwheel quilt hand quilted. First one EVER!!!. I was so glad to get that out of my hands.
The Orange and brown is my second quilt. Also a WIP it is for my mother who adores autumn! ( I started it in autumn lol!) The green and pink one is the top layer of my WIP of a quilt comforter/bedspread for a full. It was going to be for my sister but she change her room scheme to parchment and cranberries so...now I have that on hiatus. I haven't made the quilt sandwich with it yet but I hope if I can get advice in my other posted question on machine quilting that the project will finally come off the To-do list. (because hand quilting is a beast to do!) (If i can't get all my pics in here then i'll open another post :) |
You do such good hand work. Your quilts are beautiful.

What a wonderful array of quilts, and great job on the Hand work. :)

All your work is very pretty, and I love the star one.

WOW! Great job and quite ambitious.

I love your pink paisley, but the others are also gorgeous. Great work on all, and thanks for sharing.

All are beautiful.

Very beautiful work!!! I hand quilt most of my quilts. My DH built me a quilt frame with PVC pipe. I saw a PVC frame at Hobby Lobby, and just knew my DH could take 1 look at it and go build it for me. He built 1 for me, and several for my quilting friends. Maybe someone could do that for you. It's super cheap to build!

@stitchnnana: I have no such building skills but my gramps does...he told me he'd rather buy it. Then my father tells me that he could make it ...now they argue about who has the better skills to make it. Lol. So not getting that anytime soon. lol

Your quilts are outstanding. I really like the blue one; the color combination is stunning.
|
Where did you find that blue snowflake fabric, do you remember the mfgr. It is what I am looking for for a wallhanging
|
Very pretty, all of them. Love your color combos and yea on the hand quilting.
|
I love your quilts! Those blue pinwheels look like they are floating in the stars! Wow! And your hand stitching is lovely.
I hand quilt & understand wanting to get quilts finished! I've done several Stitch In the Ditch on my machine, & am learning some Free Motion Quilting! You could use SID for that 3rd quilt. Be sure & use a walking foot & check your batting requirements. |

Will be the dark in my STORM AT SEA if I ever get it started And I love paisley-any color. The light olive with the paisley is a favorite of mine. |
