I have had the same cabinet for the past 2 years and I love it. My laptop fits really well on the little side pullout. I wasn't going to buy it when I bought my QC1000 but hubby told me that I would be sorry if I didn't get the machine with the table. He was right. Have fun and enjoy.

Alot of good work space...good find.

Candela59 07-20-2010 07:18 AM

Rachelcb80 07-20-2010 07:26 AM

Congrats on your new table! You'll LOVE it. I know I love mine! We have the same machine and same brand table, but mine's oak and a different style. You're right for sure about it beating the dining room table! :) (But do you miss the little clip on table your Bernina has? I really liked the measurement markings it had on it. That is the one thing I missed when I changed my machine over to the sewing table.)

great looking cabinet.
I have looked at his things before and I think that he has good prices. I am looking for a machine that will free motion quilt.

Linda1 07-20-2010 07:53 AM

It is wrong to be envious so I am very happy for you.

I will be heading to the heat box next week, not really looking forward to it..

It's suppose to cool down a bit to 105

That will be a great relief from the 115 we've had for almost 2 weeks

How nice. i wish I had room for something like that.

Dani 07-20-2010 05:32 PM

You will love your sewing table. I have one from Koala. My husband was going to make me a sewing table but never did. He even purchased the airlift platform for the sewing machine. We need to sell that to someone who wants to build their own sewing table. Have fun! Dani

Lucky Lindy 07-20-2010 05:43 PM

What an awesome cabinet, it sure beats sewing on the dining room table.

I too am  with envy. I use my DD's old kitchen table which works well, but lets face it, this is clean and nice looking.

Enjoy it for all of us who would like one. You deserve it.

mdollar 07-22-2010 05:40 AM

Beautiful and so much room to store things! But ouch on the price. When I went to the site and saw that it was $800, I changed my mind. Can't afford that one right now! But I envy you the space that it gives you!

butterflyquilter 07-22-2010 03:06 PM

walen 07-22-2010 08:33 PM

Really nice! Congratulations! I'm jealous. You bought the one I have been wanting!

Melinda in Tulsa 07-23-2010 08:11 AM

I'm jealous too! I have 2 cabinets for older Kenmore machines, one was my mom's, bought in 1952. Unfortunetly, my Pfaff won't fit into eiher of them. It is so nice when you have a flatbed cabinet for your machine. One day...... Happy for you, you are going to love it!

Yarn or Fabric 07-23-2010 11:42 AM

That's a great table.

Ken's is a great place :) I keep saying I need to road trip it out there and check the place out...
They were in the news the other night - sadly not for a good thing... one of their employees was stealing 100's of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise! I'm glad they caught the guy!

Margie 07-24-2010 02:06 PM

WOWZER looks great very pretty enjoy it!

SecondHandRogue 02-23-2011 02:58 PM

OK, at the risk of quickly becoming Queen of the Dead Threads, I'm going to reanimate this one, because I can't see any reason to start a new one;) If no one answers I'll go that route.

I was just wondering, how is the cabinet holding up after 6 months? Do you still love it? Any complaints?

And if anyone else would like to chime in...I'd love to hear how anyone else is liking their Ken's cabinets:)

cindyg 02-24-2011 12:35 PM

I have the exact same cabinet but mine is a darker wood. I absolutely love it.

Stitchnripper 02-24-2011 12:37 PM
