I bought this from Ken's Sewing & Vaccuum Center. It is made by Horn for Ken's, model K79. It is also listed on Ebay w/ free shipping. Got an email for their 4th of July sale for 10% off. Called em (wanted white), talked to Donna who was great. Got free shipping & 10% off.
What an awesome cabinet, it sure beats sewing on the dining room table.

Love it in the white. I have a horn cabinet for my machine and I was always wanting to add other sections to it. Maybe some day.

alaskasunshine 07-18-2010 12:55 PM

I LOVE this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Drooling as I go to my quilt room to sew on my "dining room" table. I like mine but I LOVE yours. I wonder if it would be free shipping to Alaska? HMMMM tossing that thought around in my head

Oh my word I just checked the price...um... I am not even going to ask about this one. But I am tickled you got yours!!! Way cool. Let's see what you churn out with your beautiful quilt station!

WOW, what a great sewing table!

MZStitch 07-18-2010 02:56 PM

I have the same cabinet in the color oak! You are going to love it!! My serger is set up on the right side table, and I have a 36 inch cutting mat on the large table portion. Mine is now over 6 years old, and still in perfect shape. Enjoy yours!

cindyg 07-18-2010 04:17 PM

I have this same Horn cabinet only in cherry wood (I think). I absolutely love it. What looks like the bottom two drawers is really one big drawer and I store my serger in there. On the right side, that's where my embroidery machine sits. It's really wonderful when you are working on something large because of the back part that flips up. Congrats FancyFoot - I hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine.

Bluelady 07-18-2010 04:48 PM

Wow. Very nice!! I need one! I went and looked at the price, Not bad, especially as compared to the Koala cabinets. (which I lust after).
Do you have a special chair you use or recommend? My back often bothers me when sewing for long stretches.

Have been shopping from Ken's for almost 35 years and you won't find a better dealer anywhere. They were at the Knoxville AQS show this week and had some awesome prices. Congrats on your new cabinet - bet you are going to love it!

I can't recommend a chair yet, still trying different ones. I'm leaning toward the dining room chair. Nicely padded, good height & on casters.

craftiladi 07-20-2010 05:26 AM

Oh How Nice!...and with your hot weather its a great reason to stay inside and get some great use from your new cabinet.
I will be heading to the heat box next week, not really looking forward to it..
