It's not as nice and beautiful as some of the rooms i've seen on here but it's new for me :) My husband and I moved into a 2 bedroom apartment and now I have one WHOLE room just for my quilting stuff! I just re organized everything so now I'm in the mood to get in there and sew! I'm still a newbie so I don't have a lot...yet haha. Thanks for looking!

You will soon be sewing up a storm and can leave in mid stitch shut the door and pick that stitch up later and no one will be the wiser unless one of those furry assistants meow progress reports. Looks nice and efficient, a verified, guaranteeeeeed quilt room!

Nice sewing room.
My youngest daughter just left (June 1st 2011) for college (summer program) so I am moving my bins of fabric and cutting table into her old room. I have about 1/3 of the fabric in there, but it is slow going since I am refolding and sorting the fabric by color groups. |
Nice bright room, looks just right. Is that a new sewing machine as well in the first picture. The machine in the pic of your old room has a nice wide throat. May I as what it is. Thanks for sharing.

Having a sewing room all to yourself is so nice. Maybe you can find a larger machine soon. Have you considered looking at vintage machines? People get some great finds at thrift stores and estate sales.

Very nice. I love having my own room. When I'm done for the day I don't have to put everything away. I just close the door and come back the next day.

It's wonderful and so nice to have an entire room just for quilting! I love the exercise ball under the table. I keep thinking it would be great to sit on one while I sew.

Nice. We are moving to Maine the beginning of the year and I will be able to have a sewing room. I can not wait. Both to move back to Maine and to have a sewing room. Right now I use a very little corner of our bedroom.

I'm sharing mine with my husband's office. I keep telling him he has to move his stuff BUT we downsized too and just don't have the room. Oh well, life is funny. At least I'm able to quilt and sew and talk with him at the same time! Happy Quilting!

It is a nice bright space. And comes with helpers on 4 legs.
